MEET GEOFF

My racing story begins young, really young because I got my name from Geoff Brabham. Not because my parents were fanatical fans, but because that’s who happened to be leading the race my dad was watching at the hospital before I came home.

From there I grew up watching my dad race and win on Pikes Peak and in sprint cars, there was never much doubt that’s what I wanted to do. My journey began in karts and progressed through mini sprints to sprint cars. It was ultimately my love for sprint cars which led me to the 2005 Knoxville Nationals and a whole new adventure in life.

I was fortunate to win a scholarship as Rookie of the Year which afforded me the opportunity to move to Indianapolis and compete in the Indy Lights Series. The experience of racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was the realization of a childhood dream. While I would have loved to compete in the Indy 500, opportunities took me back to the dirt and my beloved sprint cars.

I had success racing sprint cars for several teams over the years, and learned valuable lessons about owning and managing a race program from each one. Gradually the dream of owning my own program which could incorporate all of the lessons learned along the way came into focus, and ultimately culminated in the launch of Geoff Dodge Racing.

Away from the racetrack, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Ashley, our beautiful daughter Madeline, and our pets Birdie & Bruno. We like hiking, biking, skiing, listening to live music, and taking outdoor and cross country adventures.
